This position works closely with Group Finance to ensure consistent and timely provision of financial information while adhering to group finance policies. It focuses solely on management reporting (not statutory reporting).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic Planning and Reporting:

• Lead the design and development of management financial reporting tools for DP World’s global logistics business.
• Deliver monthly management financial reports, ensuring alignment with company strategy and consistent definitions globally.
• Lead the development and rollout of budgeting and forecasting processes in close coordination with Group Finance.
• Design and implement SG&A/overhead budgeting and forecasting for the logistics pillar.

Process Improvement and Control:

• Drive process and system improvements across the finance organization, including key controls over financial reporting.
• Ensure global consistency and alignment in reporting frameworks and practices.

Insights and Decision Support:

• Build business cases and provide analysis for strategic initiatives within the logistics pillar.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to recommend solutions for improving financial performance.
• Ensure FP&A functions act as strong partners to senior executives and regional teams, providing visibility into the business.

Ad Hoc Projects:

• Assist with strategy and operational projects as required.

Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and strategies.
• Develop and recommend policies and procedures for the finance function.

Culture and Values:

• Promote and demonstrate positive behaviours in line with DP World’s values and culture.
• Maintain the highest levels of safety and adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned 

JOB CONTEXT:

This role operates in a global, cross-regional environment, overseeing financial planning and analysis for the logistics business. The role requires:

• Managing multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
• Collaborating with and influencing senior executives and regional finance teams.
• Delivering solutions that align with DP World’s logistics strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

• Management experience within the accounting & finance field.
• Proven track record of operating in large-scale businesses ($1B+ revenue).
• Experience scaling business processes and working in high-growth logistics, technology, or automotive industries.
• Experience building integrated finance functions on a national or global scale.

Skills:

• Financial Reporting Tools: Advanced knowledge of Oracle EBPCS and Power BI, with a track record of developing impactful reporting formats.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with global stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify root causes and recommend innovative solutions.
• Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to tasks, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• IT Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting software.
• Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written).
