Associate - Licensing & Regulatory Management Team

This role will be a part of Licensing & Regulatory Management team

As an Associate within the Licensing & Regulatory Management team, you will be engaged in handling various regulatory matters pertaining to a broad range of regulations applicable to companies in India. This includes matters affecting the procurement of office spaces and equipment for our employees. You will also be involved in regulatory interactions and submissions, as well as working on technology-promoten projects to enhance our in-house applications in line with the technological advancements of our regulators.

Job responsibilities 

  • Working knowledge on operational process for STPI, SEZ, Customs and PCB regulations  
  • Managing filings for new sites, tracking regulatory developments in STPI, SEZ and other related regulations
  • Identifying new laws, regulations, notifications and circulars issued by the govt. ( state specific) that impact the entity
  • Adapting to new technological developments and digitization efforts` and `Evaluating risks and controls of the process and data record audit
  • Managing Custom House Agents relationships, monitoring performance against SLA and driving vendor governance 
  • Being responsible for operational process efficiencies and maker checker process
  • Risk and controls evaluation of the process and data record audits 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Technical / Masters Degree, with a min. 10 years work experience
  • Have a strong controls mindset, and be able to work with great alacrity and attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills and be able to work comfortably with business and management teams
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Competency in the use of technology, shared databases  and on-line tools  (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word). Working knowledge of SharePoint and Tableau 
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues timely and appropriately

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Law or company secretary degree will be a good to have 
  • Labour and other regulatory experience
