Department 

The People Solutions department is composed of 4 teams. Reward & Recognition, International Employment Solutions, Workforce Solutions and Data & Analytics solutions. 

The International Employment Solutions team strives to provide people solutions in regard internationally mobile executives and non-executives. They provide their clients (business partners, hiring managers, recruiters) with expertise in all fields of international employment ranging from practicalities (relocation, housing, schooling, ,…) over reward advisory services (assignments, local-to-local transfers, inpatriation) until practical implementation and coordination with external vendors (tax consultancy firms, benchmark providers, relocation agents, payroll providers…) as well as internal stakeholders (Finance division). 

Role

In the International Expat Advisor role, you will be responsible to coordinate and manage the expat administration, the benefit schemes and the HR payroll administration for all Euroclear expatriates in line with our Company expatriation policies and guidelines. 

You will follow-up on all HR expat and related services for all Euroclear expatriates. 

As International Expat Advisor, your main responsibilities are to: 

  • Report to the Team leader of the International Employment Solutions team
  • Follow-up on the expat assignment process
  • Manage the following tasks: preparing and distributing payments, benefits, taxes, social security and payroll deductions and insurances to the appropriate payroll entities
  • Prepare the impact of the expat assignments for the employee, like the tax and benefits administration, the local and international payroll implications and any practical arrangements like the move and schooling
  • Ensure the coordination of the calculation of gross to net payments of expenses related to relocation and expatriation linked to the local entity
  • Handle the full expatriation process with the view on the end-to-end process, you will drive, implement and follow-up on changes to ensure an efficient and effective process
  • Follow-up on any A1 or work permit applications and provide necessary assistance;  You will communicate with the employees with regards to the expat administration
  • Manage the invoices payment procedure
  • Provide assistance to the internal and external audits within this HR Domain
  • Contribute to the reconciliation with Finance and the preparation of the budget exercise
  • Deliver support to other tasks within the team. 

Technical skills 

  • Bachelor degree and a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an HR environment or in a related administrative area
  • Sound knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • No specific experience in Payroll and Expat Management, but you are very eager to learn and develop yourself within this HR domain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Proficient and decisive in written and spoken English, and French or Dutch.
