Job Title: In-house Commercial Lawyer, Part Time
Location: Head Office Leicester
We are currently looking to recruit a commercial contracts lawyer to join our highly regarded in-house legal team. As well as drafting and reviewing commercial agreements you can expect to be involved in more generalist legal work including IP, Consumer Law and some regulatory work.
This is a Part Time role 3 days per week
The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Legal you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements for NEXT and its various brands which include Victoria’s Secret, Joules, The GAP, Reiss, Made.com, Cath Kidston and Bath & Body Works.
Contracts will include concession and licensing agreements (based on our standard templates), SaaS agreements, confidentiality agreements, purchasing agreements, standard terms and conditions of purchase, consultancy agreements, supplier agreement, IP licences, etc.
The role could also include some IP work, Data Privacy, Compliance and possibly some commercial litigation
The Person:
You will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE working either in-house or in Private Practice. You will have demonstrable experience of reviewing and drafting commercial contracts. You must also demonstrate an appetite to take on generalist legal work that may not be in your specialist area
