Job Overview

The Senior, Asset Protection - Training & Compliance drives Brand Protection through the education and reinforcement of Asset Protection Policy and Procedure, trains all levels of the AP organization, and reviews adverse events.

 

What You Will Do

  • Maintain and develop Asset Protection Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance with required AP training content to uphold company standards.
  • Write, edit, and obtain legal approval for Asset Protection Policies and Procedures.
  • Deliver required AP Training content to all levels of the AP organization.
  • Have knowledge of and ensure jurisdictional licensing requirements are upheld.
  • Review incidents involving AP Policy Violations and customer complaints involving AP Colleagues.
  • Manage all policy violations with Colleague Advisory, including data entry into Salesforce and direct partnership with Colleague Advisory.
  • Respond to customer complaints and potential defense in cases of litigation.
  • Monitor performance to ensure goals are consistently exceeded, hold business partners accountable for results, and motivate team members to exceed department goals.
  • Coach and develop team members while sharing the team’s progress with business stakeholders.
  • Drive and communicate consistent priorities, establish work strategies, and provide insight and decision support.
  • Assist in developing, improving, and implementing processes to enhance the colleague and customer experience.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and build strong relationships with team members across functions, both in person and remotely.
  • Provide a safe work environment for staff by developing and enforcing safe work practices.

 

Skills You Will Need

Policy and Procedure Management: Expertise in maintaining, developing, and obtaining legal approval for Asset Protection Policies and Procedures.

Training and Development: Ability to deliver training content to all levels of the AP organization and ensure compliance with AP training standards.

Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of jurisdictional licensing requirements and ability to ensure compliance.

Incident Review and Management: Skills in reviewing incidents involving AP Policy Violations and customer complaints, and managing policy violations with Colleague Advisory.

Performance Monitoring and Motivation: Ability to monitor performance, hold business partners accountable, and motivate team members to exceed department goals.

Coaching and Development: Proficiency in coaching and developing team members while sharing progress with business stakeholders.

Strategic Planning and Execution: Strong skills in driving and communicating priorities, establishing work strategies, and providing insight and decision support.

Process Improvement: Ability to develop, improve, and implement processes to enhance the colleague and customer experience.

Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across functions, both in person and remotely.

Leadership and Negotiation: Strong leadership profile with excellent negotiation skills.

Time Management: Effective prioritizing and time management skills.

Integrity and Professionalism: Commitment to exemplifying the highest integrity and professional business standards.

  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 
  • This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. May involve reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
