Join Garrett as one of our Lead Engineers to manage team of experienced professionals in the development of our innovative OEM turbo technologies for passenger cars that enhance vehicle performance, fuel economy, and driveability.

You will be responsible for

• Directly managing and mentoring a dedicated team of development engineers, designers, and technicians
• Defining top-down turbocharger functional requirements and design specifications
• Liaising with customer and acting as their key technical counterpart on the projects
• Leading the development and launch of new product designs and applications for our customers following automotive project management standards
• Simulating and qualifying full products to meet customer needs
• Ensuring flawless product launches, considering performance, cost, reliability, APQP, and timing

Qualifications

• Bachelor`s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering
• Min. 5 years of relevant automotive experience
• Turbomachinery and Internal Combustion Engine / Powertrain expertise
• Engineering leader with proven experience in direct customer interface. Prior product validation and launch experience, product development and component design
• Proven problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret data, define actions, and implement solutions to ensure flawless launches
