The Role:

The Product Business Analyst (PBA) possesses a high level of motivation in their support of the Business Owners of EUI’s business services. Possessing an analytical mindset, they will help the Product Owner, ensure that their ideas become a reality by using their skills and knowledge of UK financial services to develop a model for how the service should operate.They will understand the value of the current service to EUI’s clients and the wider market as well as how that same service could be developed to further enhance that value. To support this, they will also act as the primary interface for gathering and validating requirements from external and internal system users, including both clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Possess a good understanding of the current CREST service offering.
• Work closely with individual Product Owners to translate the outline of a service framework into a series of high-level business requirements, ensuring a world-class service.
• Identify service attributes that are of exceptional value to users and potential clients, setting us apart from our competitors.
• Use analytical and performance data to gain valuable insights into business performance and future operations, enabling us to stay ahead of the curve.
• Facilitate discussions with users and potential users to extract a deep understanding of their system usage and gather insights for potential future enhancements.
• Product market consultation documentation andsupport this with presentations to users and wider market.
• As a result of all prior steps that result indevelop of high-level business requirements, work with colleagues across thebusiness to ensure that new service requirements are complimentary to other ongoing service enhancements.
• Identify key issues and develop responses to either resolve them or find alternate approaches.
• Work closely with allocated colleagues to ensure that high level requirements are correctly translated into service specifications.

Skills and Knowledge

• Possess sufficient experience of the UK financial services industry and EUI’s role within it to allow for proactive contribution to discussion and performance of analytical tasks.
• Excellent spoken and written English, ensuring clear and concise communication.
• Excellent presentation skills, both written and oral, to effectively convey ideas and proposals to diverse audiences.
• Experience in gathering and consolidating requirements from cross-functional groups and from both external and internal sources, fostering collaboration and inclusivity.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle complex challenges with ease.
• Proficient with MS Office desktop applications, including Project, to effectively manage and document project progress.
• Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and manage simultaneous projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Organised, excellent interpersonal skills and a good negotiator, enabling successful collaboration with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
