Senior IT Project Leader
Division: Group Business Solutions (GBS):

As a Senior IT Project Leader at Euroclear, you will have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the modernization of our current IT platforms. In this role, you will play a key role in driving the implementation of market standard packages, utilizing new technologies, and ensuring customer-focused service enhancements. Within GBS, you will join the Asset Servicing Agile Tribe!
Your role is to deliver Epics in the most efficient way, engaging stakeholders and orchestrating the end-to-end delivery across the different tribes contributing to the Epic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading multiple Epics/Projects of varying complexity, adapting to changes and uncertainties in project management processes and frameworks.
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and forecasts, including resource allocation, costs, and dependencies.
- Handling change control processes, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and tracking action items.
- Supervising progress, quality, planning, and budget, reporting to senior management and partners.
- Leading virtual teams across different divisions and entities, including third-party suppliers.
- Ensuring Epics/projects adhere to Euroclear’s internal standards and methodologies.
- Leading improvement initiatives and acting as the primary connection between project sponsors/clients and IT services.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing end-to-end IT functional Epics/projects exceeding 5000 person-days, with virtual team coordination involving at least 30 individuals. Experience within the Financial/Banking sector and familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Senior Project Leader in IT.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

- Strong leadership skills adaptable to various partners and situations.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization, coupled with the ability to learn quickly and synthesize complex information.
- Effective negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in task delegation while maintaining overall control and driving tasks to completion.
- Self-motivated and able to work without constant direction by managing your own workload and delivering work on time and with high quality, using the support and tools provided.
- Independent, assertive, and can manage challenging internal and external partners.
- Disciplined, accurate, and have strong organizational skills.
- Provide constructive feedback that leads to positive change.
Assets:
- Experience in package implementation.
- Experience with functional projects.
- Knowledge of Asset Servicing (also known as Corporate Actions or Custody).
- Experience with outsourcing partners and cross-platform implementation.
- Certification in PRINCE2 and/or PMI, or similar IT delivery framework.
- Agile Certified Practitioner.
