HR Systems Analyst - Onsite
Primary Purpose
Plays a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise HRIS systems (Core HR, Absence, Position Management, Checklists (Journeys) and Compensation); provides knowledge and insight to other downstream HRIS platforms including Benefits and Payroll. Provides direction and support on ancillary HRIS platforms (Digital Assistant, Opportunity Marketplace, etc.). Leverages HRIS data to generate insightful reports to assist leadership with strategic decisions. Identifies areas of opportunity to continue to improve existing HRIS processes, functionality and workflows and maximizes technological capabilities to reduce manual processes and to improve data management, integrity and operational efficiency. Trains and provides troubleshooting instructions on features and functionality of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM).
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates the testing schedule for planned upgrades and patches. Performs testing as per Oracle`s schedule and coordinates with Benefits, Payroll and IT. Reports any issues discovered. Updates training documentation (i.e., scripts, etc.) as necessary and communicates/distributes the changes/new features/information to the HR/Benefits and Payroll teams.
- Works closely with the Human Resources Administrators/HR team to administer and support all HR system technologies and enhancements that improve HR operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provides on-the-job and formal HCM training to the Human Resources Administrators and other HR personnel as necessary.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to leverage HRIS data to conduct analyses and create insightful reports.
- Troubleshoots and provides technical guidance/direction to the administrative, technical, HR, Benefits and Payroll staff with HCM.
- Key advisor for additional modules and projects involving HRIS as a component.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years` experience managing and maintaining human resources information management system(s). Previous implementation/project management experience strongly desired.
- Prior experience working in an HR role is required.
- Demonstrated project management skills such as the ability to lead HRIS projects, manage timelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical/data issues as well as develop and implement strategies to address problem areas with human resources technology.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and time-management skills along with possessing a positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow-through/communication on issues, requests and projects.
- Requires a high level of enterprise HRIS systems knowledge (subject matter expert (SME)).
- Maintaining 100% system availability is imperative.
