If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of Mobile Cleaners within the Lochgelly area. We currently have a permanent vacancy covering Lochgelly and surrounding area in schools, working 15 hours, Monday to Friday 40 weeks per year, as required.
Lochgelly High School:
- Mobile Cleaner - 15 hours per week Monday to Friday between 3:00pm to 8:00pm as required on a 40 week contract.
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Travel expenses will be paid - we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
- Pay is annualised.

This work is about ensuring staff can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate
The Person
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work.
You will be required to attend induction training before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
