Senior Financial Analyst - Consolidations
Financial Consolidation Systems & Reporting Analyst is part of a small, highly experienced, integrated consolidation team. This role is responsible for assisting with and optimizing the financial consolidation processes and systems within the organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial data, developing financial reports and supporting compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role will participate in the preparation of the Groups consolidated financial statements for the SEC Form 10-Q and 10-K as well as the monthly internal management reporting. You will work closely with the other experienced members of the consolidation team, and cross functionally with departments such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Controller Group, Comp & Ben, SOX, Treasury, Tax, Senior Management, Finance functional support, site level teams and Internal and External audit.
Responsibilities:
Quarterly / annually
- The Analyst will assist in the preparation of the financial statements and all accompanying footnotes for 10-Q/K, 8-Ks, and other SEC filings in accordance with Company Policy, GAAP requirements and SEC regulation
- Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide analysis and any required audit documentation necessary for the successful completion of any audit
Monthly
- Driving and monitoring the monthly close timetable, assisting reporting units with accurate & timely month end reporting.
- Assist in the consolidations processes such as: preparation of adjustment unit entries, the acceptance of the financial results submitted by the Controllers Group, the recording of consolidating journal entries and generating reports from the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) System
- Prepare and compile various financial reports to assist in the monthly financial review process.
- Prepare intercompany reconciliations, intercompany elimination journals, and research discrepancies and ensure consistency across the Company.
- Responsible for monitoring of the SAP – HFM mapping tool (FDMEE) & maintaining mappings
- Work with internal partners to capture financial information required
- Prepare detailed analysis of consolidated financial data to identify trends, variances and potential issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial consolidation and reporting processes.
- Assist in implementing best practices and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years of experience within a multi-national company preferred
- 3+ years experience in financial consolidation and reporting preferably in a multinational organization.
- Good technical accounting skills including good knowledge of complex Group Financial Consolidations and detailed understanding of Financial Reporting (US GAAP)
- Proficiency with financial consolidation systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SmartView and other financial analysis tools
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent English
