  • £23,114 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 37 hours per week, Flexible working options available
  • Post 1: Permanent
  • Post 2: Fixed Term for 6 months 

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join Suffolk County Council`s Business Support Ipswich South and West Multi Agency Team as a Business Support Officer working alongside social workers and practitioners.

Your role and responsibilities 

In your role, you will:

  • work flexibly as part of a team, providing admin, telephony and finance support to social workers, practitioners and managers
  • administer business processes and procedures including taking minutes at statutory meetings
  • use Microsoft Office and bespoke data base applications on a daily basis
  • assist in monitoring multiple budgets with agreed procedures directed by line managers 
  • provide a reliable and supportive response to customers
  • pay attention to detail and understand the need for accuracy, as well as confidentiality and data protection.

 

You will need:

  • good customer service skills
  • accurate note taking or minute taking skills
  • to demonstrate experience in a range of office and financial procedures
  • to work flexibly and adapt to a range of needs and priorities
  • to contribute to team working 
  • a willingness to learn.
