Role Overview:

As a Tech Lead in the Engineering IT 4.0 team, you will drive cutting-edge advancements in cloud orchestration, simulation automation, and data engineering while fostering continuous improvement and innovation. Join us to make an impact in product design validation!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based applications and workflows for Engineering Process Integration and Design Optimization.
• Develop extensions for Ansys and similar tools for fully automated simulation projects.
• Engage in agile project management, report on project health, and address risks.
• Lead sprints, challenge, and support the team, and integrate product design validation principles.
• Drive continuous improvement with DevEx principles, coding best practices, and Kaizen events.
• Support team members in skill development and achieving required competencies.
• Apply innovative problem-solving and leverage new technologies.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field (e.g., Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) with 7+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with comparable experience.

Experience:

• At least 7 years in engineering process automation, application development, and scripting.
• Experience in Automotive, Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical domains.
• Background in cloud application development within complex environments.
• Proven track record in leading technical innovations and projects.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

• Fluent in English.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming and Python scripting.
• Strong experience in cloud-hosted applications (e.g., Step Functions, IaC, FaaS, AMI).
• Familiarity with Ansys tools and automation (APDL, IronPython, pyAnsys) is a plus.
• Experience with integration technologies, cloud-based APIs, and Agile/scrum methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate new tools and technologies, and provide recommendations on best practices.
• Strong business process development and optimization skills.
• Capable of independent project management and presenting to leadership.
• Effective team leader with a focus on skill growth and technical career paths.
• Innovative problem-solving skills and ability to address customer feedback.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

• Follow safety and work instructions to prevent accidents and illnesses.
• Minimize environmental impact and use equipment and substances correctly.
• Use personal protective equipment and maintain safety devices.
• Report emergencies and safety concerns to the manager and participate in emergency response.
• Attend HSE training and medical examinations and cooperate in maintaining a safe work environment.
