Business Controller
For our DP World site in Amsterdam, The Netherlands we are looking for a Business Controller. Do you have a proven track record of strong business analytics and partnering to achieve the best business & financial results? About the role
How will you contribute
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reporting packs, including detailed analysis of sales and direct labor variances.
- Be on top of large implementations, generating important insights for contract management.
- Data Analysis to understand business profile changes and effects on Revenue & EBITDA.
- Assisting in developing new reports, billing apps and other analytical reports in Qlik Sense (or Power BI) for more analysis within NL and Worldwide;.
- Assisting with the preparation of Annual Budget and Quarterly Latest View (LV) files in conjunction with the local operations team. Upload budgets and LV’s into
- Company interactive Excel consolidation software.
- Preparation of weekly P&L flash reports and KPI development. Ensure accurate update in a timely manner prior to review call and investigation & discussion of variances.
- Assisting with the preparation of sales invoices and backups.
- Add value to the business by provision of metrics to measure daily performance and aid decision making & efficiency in the Operation.
What will you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, Controlling
- 2-3 years in relevant Finance role in production, logistics, challenging commercial environment.
- Engagement in Planning & Control Cycle.
- High level of MS Office Excel skills.
- Accurate with the ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of data analysis, forecasting, and problem-solving ability.
- You are fun to work with.
- Fluent English (C1) and good Dutch (B2) skills to ensure effective communication.
