A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us in the Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism service within the Business and Finance Team as an Apprentice Business and Finance Administrator.
We’ll support your development from the start and will help you to play to your strengths, diversify your skills and build an influential and impactful career. During your apprenticeship you will receive ongoing training, new work-based experiences and support to enable you to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to undertake a comprehensive range of finance and administrative duties.
We are seeking a friendly, organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.

Your role and responsibilities
Our Business and Finance team provides administrative and finance support to the Practitioners and Home Care providers supporting vulnerable adults across our locality area. You will:
- be part of the team carrying out financial and business functions which will include the delivery of income and payment services within Adult Social Care
- provide business support focusing on good outcomes for our customers, statutory requirements and new ideas to improve the way we work
- liaise with Home Care Providers to ensure services are provided in accordance with agreed processes, policies and timescales
- identify financial and business inaccuracies and ensure they are reported to the Business and Financial Officer and resolved in a timely manner
- build positive relationships with Home Care providers and colleagues to act as a first point of contact and resolve financial and business performance process queries.
Your apprenticeship
- Level 3 Business Administrator
- Up to 18 months.

This applies during the final 3 months of your contract.
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- be focused and motivated to gain valuable work-based skills and experience within the role
- demonstrate a can do attitude and the determination to succeed in gaining the qualification and in the workplace
- be customer-focused and look for ways for us all to work better and smarter
- have excellent communication and IT skills
- Need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 - 9 / Grade C and above or equivalent including mathematics and English.
