Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity for MC Drivers to join our growing team!
DP World are looking for experienced A-DOUBLE drivers with current MSIC to join our Brisbane-based operation in a permanent capacity.
We are looking for MC Truck Drivers with A-Double experience in carting Full Containers. We are looking for people on both day and night shift to work up to 12 hour shifts and a current MSIC is mandatory.
Key Accountabilities
- Shuttling Full Exports and Imports in the Port Precinct
- Shuttling Empty containers around the Port precinct
- Delivering containers to customer sites
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Current MC licence
- Current MSIC
- Previous experience in Container truck driving – A-Doubles
- Knowledge of all Empty Parks and Terminals
- Current knowledge of the COR requirements
- Current knowledge of legal weight limits and correct load positions for the FCL’s
- Be physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
